A little advanced notice would've been nice.

Pissboy Pollyanna, I'm not calling for Drew's head. Just that the team take a long bus ride back to Waco. Planes are for champions.

You can always tell the ones who never played a competitive sport after games like this.
Each of them starts a new thread to say the exact same thing.
It's one loss. We've got probably 8 or 9 more so brace yourself.
For example..we still haven't played on a hostile road venue.
This will probably happen again in Provo and Lubbock. This is what you get boys when you're the hunted .we ain't the hunter anymore. We get everyone's best shot and it's circled on the calendar.

Really dumb statement. These guys were studying for and taking finals. There's always the nba for people like you.

Trust me .that wasn't no hostile environment in a sterile NBA arena...
Wait till you see what greets us in the Marriott Center in Provo with 22,000 strong..or in the United Spirit in Lubbock..this is a young team ..were not going to know what hit us..
These are all well done. All 7 are applicable.Adriacus Peratuun said:
That game hopefully was the embodiment of many concepts:
1) never schedule a tough game right after finals break. Baylor MBB seems to not learn that lesson.
2) snowball effect is real.
3) losing reveals weak points. Losing badly hopefully slaps players into the reality to work on those weaknesses.
4) like Gonzaga learned in 2021, be ready to play at the tip-off.
5) skilled PGs that aren't super quick/athletic have difficulty against better competition. Athleticism matters, especially at the PG position.
6) skill only takes a team so far, hustle & athleticism are also necessary components.
7) the road is long & tough, no short cuts to success.

Were you at the game? My son went and said it was extremely hostile. Not only does this sterile arena hold more fans than Michigan States home arena, but it was packed with Michigan State fans. Even the TV announcers commented on how loud it was. I'd be curious how you gathered your take that this was no hostile environment because that's not the take I got from BU fans in attendance.Stefano DiMera said:
