We purchased season tickets in section 220. Based on our selection at seat selection time, we should be on the second row back from the front of the section. Meaning, there is only one row in front of us. However, the seats received say row 7.

Can anyone shed some light on the row numbering system that is in place at Foster Pavilion?

I greatly appreciate any assistance.

I suspect that Rows1-6 are on-the-floor risers.

Yeah - my wife and I counted several times, and the rows don't add up to Row 7 that we have. Row 6 would still need to be in front of us on the upper section.

It has to do with the corner sections. Look at 217 or 201, there are 6 rows that go below the "first row" of sections 221,220,219. You're correct that you are in the actual second row of that section.

Ok - This helps it make sense. Thank you for your help.

Additional seating questions:
1. Are they putting students in the yellow courtside seats, or did that plan get nixed?
2. Will students and other fans be allowed to stand and yell, or must they sit and clap politely?
3. How many actual "seats" for spectators are there? Not the pavilion "capacity" that includes both benches, concessions workers, standing room, cheerleaders, and referees … but actual seats?
