I guess he has an NIL deal with adidas. Hailey Van Lith does too and went to LSU (Nike).

So you're telling me there's a chance!

If he has a deal with Adidas, would be hard to see him go to a Nike school. Kansas would seem likely.

Drew is in on a lot of 4 and 5 star recruits. Any chance he can teach Aranda a thing or 2?

When I read he is keeping the pro option open, I'm thinking, maybe before coaches get on a plane to visit, check to see if he showed up for the psat.

I didn't think SAT scores mattered anymore in today's college/professional athletics

I believe taking a standardized test like the SAT is still required to obtain NCAA eligibility. If a HS Junior is taking the PSAT, he would likely have his sights on playing college mbb after HS. If he is not taking it, it may indicate his sights are elsewhere.

SAT not required for NCAA eligibility. In fact, not at all required for college admissions anywhere. Only recommended if someone can score high enough to earn academic scholarships.

Correct...

COVID shut down many test centers that never reopened.

And NCAA determined that many athletes in poor areas didn't have access to the private tutoring available for practicing for test that others in affluent areas had.

Did not realize that, thank you!

So, no standardized testing, and a portal that allows players to transfer each year if they didn't like the steak on steak night... just pondering the decline and fall of the student athlete.

Cute that you think the decline started in the past couple of years. I know some players under Teaff who didn't go to class all year and had "tutors" do all their work for them.

He gone. he won't come here because the stadium is only 6500 seats and Clifton Robinson Tower blocks part of the view from I-35. And there's probably going to be too much traffic. On to the next one

(sarcasm obviously)
