Not really anything that can be done to change it. We did add slash positions on the lower level in each corner, which is why you're seeing great shots of the bench. #SicEm

Knew something had to happen. Why was that dude posting "nothing could be done" when it was very clear they would have to adjust something. Hopefully it continues to improve or they create a makeshift space even if that have to spend significant money to correct.bear2be2 said:
It was better for the women's game. They zoomed in more and it didn't feel like you were watching from the moon.
It was still very high and at a unique angle. But it wasn't as jarring.
That may work for the women's game. But the men's game is above the rim, so the very high angle ruins the watching experience. I couldn't tell a Missi alley-oop dunk from a Grimes layup. The "spectacularness" of it just couldn't be appreciated. The vast majority of people who watch Baylor basketball watch it on tv. They need to fix this, and fix it real soon.bear2be2 said:

You're probably right, so they need to rearrange them. There are consequences for bad decisions. They should've thought of this and/or tested it out somehow before the first game.VaeBear said:
The camera platform is at the very top of the arena. Not likely that anything can be done this year. To get a better angle they would probably have to rearrange some seats.

Bad cameral angle is bad. Did no-one think of this during the planning phase?

If the women could have alley-ooped last night, you would not have missed anything compared to the men. The view was zoomed in a little more in the women's game, but respectfully, I find nothing to support your comment from watching the women last night.BusyTarpDuster2017 said:That may work for the women's game. Yep, you can see from that photo that the cameras can potentially be placed in a better position, but it would require the removal of some seats. Whether they're willing to do that or not is the question.historian said:
I think this is a better photo to make my point
I'm confused by your comment - since there were no alley-oops in the women's game that you watched, how by NOT seeing something can you tell that I wouldn't have missed anything about it?blackie said:If the women could have alley-ooped last night, you would not have missed anything compared to the men. Some are defending the angles and saying it is a non-issue. When watching the men's game the other night, both my son and I spoke afterwards and complained to each other. This is not just some made up issue and I also just think it is something we will live with. The intent of the stadium is to allow a great game
experience. It would have been nice to have a great TV experience, too and while it isn't awful, you does detract from the TV game experience.
If watching the game was your only priority -- be it in person or on TV -- the Ferrell Center was a good venue. Because of its bowl setup, there weren't many bad seats in the house and the gradual angle of the seats' incline made for elite TV viewing.Bear in AL said:
One of the positives of the Ferrell Center was the camera angle. Just watch a past game, and you'll see what I mean. The game of basketball allows fans to get to "know" players since they're not wearing helmets and other protective gear. IMHO, the camera angle is a huge nuance to college basketball. I hope BU makes an adjustment.
Give the fans Go-Pros!ScottS said:
Some say seats will have to be removed to fix this problem. Maybe a temporary solution would be to have those sitting in those seats to hold cameras until a better solution is enacted??

Check the Texas game and look at their camera angle
