Oklahoma State seems to have improved their previously bad camera angle. If they can do it, hopefully Baylor can as well.

It looks like they took out 4-5 seats at the top of the middle level to put in a camera halfway up, instead of at the very top of the arena.

They could do the same at Foster, but it would cost them 2-3 loft seats at mid court.

no chance of that happening this season then.

That's a "no-brainer" at that place, especially given that Gallagher-Iba is about 50% larger than it needs to be.

Nice. And if you were next to the edge you would have a great view of the entire court.

Standing on the concourse behind the ADA seats on the other side, you can see the entire court.

Standing behind the loft seats on this side, you can see the shot clock on top of the basket. Barely.

I count 15+ empty seats behind the Baylor bench… I thought every seat was filled

Straight up above the BU bench near the top of 218 there's a block of about 20-25 empty seats.

I have a 360 video of the crowd from upper deck.

The athletic department legit doesn't care about the fans. This is so bad. We have college basketball journalists around the country tweeting about how bad this is. This is what the new arena got us.

Unbelieveable. $100M and the TV views are unwatchable, no bathrooms in upper level or concessions.

It's the "mistake by the lake" of the South...maybe that's why the Admin building was left in place to hid this place...

Production made an adjustment at the half, the camera angle is significantly better in the 2nd half.

Your eyes just probably adjusted to the skycam view.

Someone (maybe gobears20) had a photo the other day. Can't remember if it was a press area or something else. I'm sure someone else will know. Whoever or whatever, it would be worth more than the lost revenue on 6 or 7 seats there to replace them with an actual camera area, you'd think. But I don't profess to understand or know where they need to be to provide a decent angle. I just know what we have now is unwatchable.

Those are the equivalent of the Loge boxes at McLain
I'm sure a pretty big donor has those. However, the seats are rolling chairs. It would seem pretty easy to put up some half walls and stick the camera man There. I think it would only cost 2 seats.

There was an adjustment in 2nd half. I could tell difference.

That's what I figured. In fact, there's maybe enough room for the rolling chairs to get a bit cozy and not lose any seats. But the ability to spread out is probably one thing the jumbo shrimpers paid for.

There may have been an adjustment. With that said, the camera angle is the worst I have ever seen from any school. Ever.

It's not as bad as Gallagher Iba in Stillwater. Funny, though, I was not as bothered watching the OSU game Saturday as usually. It's probably because I've adapted somewhat to watching games at the Foster.

You weren't as bothered by GIA Saturday because they finally used common sense and moved the location down to a normal viewing level (essentially the same as the "green" level as the guy showed for our arena), which is what someone in our athletic department needs to do.

We were universally blasted again last night be even non-trolls and reasonable guys in the media as having the worst viewing angles in college basketball (all of who continue to rave about the overall looks of Foster and how the game viewing angles the only bad mark). And they're right.

From the two games I have attended, this is the best solution. I can't believe some thought didn't go into the camera placement during the design phase. Just crazy...

Hopefully this is fixed by Saturday. Saturdays game is a prime time night game and I'm sure many will tune in. At least at the start of the game

It is crazy, really hard to believe such a high level of incompetence from all the main parties involved. Everything's great, but how does this big of a miss happen?
