It looks like they took out 4-5 seats at the top of the middle level to put in a camera halfway up, instead of at the very top of the arena.MashedPotatoes said:Oklahoma State seems to have improved their previously bad camera angle. If they can do it, hopefully Baylor can as well.gobears20 said:
no chance of that happening this season then.whitetrash said:It looks like they took out 4-5 seats at the top of the middle level to put in a camera halfway up, instead of at the very top of the arena.MashedPotatoes said:Oklahoma State seems to have improved their previously bad camera angle. They could do the same at Foster, but it would cost them 2-3 loft seats at mid court.

Standing on the concourse behind the ADA seats on the other side, you can see the entire court.gobears20 said:

I count 15+ empty seats behind the Baylor bench… I thought every seat was filled

Your eyes just probably adjusted to the skycam view.Cove Dawg said:
Production made an adjustment at the half, the camera angle is significantly better in the 2nd half.

The new Baylor arena can be the nicest arena of all time. If your camera angle makes people cringe watching it, people will not watch your games. Recruits will turn down Baylor just because they know people won’t want to watch Baylor games.

Red is where the camera angle is at. It shouldn’t be hard to put the camera man somewhere in the green area. pic.twitter.com/xyrI4bIwit

who has the green seats currently?DanaDane said:Red is where the camera angle is at. It shouldn’t be hard to put the camera man somewhere in the green area. pic.twitter.com/xyrI4bIwit

That's what I figured. In fact, there's maybe enough room for the rolling chairs to get a bit cozy and not lose any seats. But the ability to spread out is probably one thing the jumbo shrimpers paid for.Big_Pumpin said:TinFoilHatPreacherBear said:who has the green seats currently?DanaDane said:Red is where the camera angle is at. Those are the equivalent of the Loge boxes at McLain
I'm sure a pretty big donor has those. However, the seats are rolling chairs. It would seem pretty easy to put up some half walls and stick the camera man There. I think it would only cost 2 seats.

There was an adjustment in 2nd half. I could tell difference.
From the two games I have attended, this is the best solution. I can't believe some thought didn't go into the camera placement during the design phase. Just crazy...Big_Pumpin said:TinFoilHatPreacherBear said:who has the green seats currently?DanaDane said:Red is where the camera angle is at. Anybody know what’s happening in the BYU game? I can’t see. pic.twitter.com/HaHmMx91Z8

It is crazy, really hard to believe such a high level of incompetence from all the main parties involved. Everything's great, but how does this big of a miss happen?True Grit said:From the two games I have attended, this is the best solution.
