On a side note, one curious observation about the TV announcers: I recognized the voices and I don't remember them together for several years, not since 2020 and Baylor beat TCU by about a large margin with Makai Mason dropping 9 threes in the game. I was there for that one and it was fun to beat the Frogs in a blowout! Earlier that day, WBB did the same to Tech by a larger margin.

I know it's unimportant but I found it curious. It also brought back some great memories from the FC.

Cincinnati, UCF and WVU are gonna be a close battle for bottom of the conference. I've watched Cincinnati 3 times and again tonight they have trouble just dribbling the ball.

Texas is going to regret that hire. But they really didn't have much of a choice.

BYU has a decent D but it's nowhere near the #10 rating in KenPom. They've feasted quite a bit on weak competition. Pretty easy to get into the paint against them.

BYU has one guy who has hit 9 of 12 3s, and the rest of the team has scored 22 total on 8 for 32 shooting.

This is head scratcher. Cincinnati can literally barely dribble the ball up the court without losing it, and yet they now lead by 5. BYU's interior D looks about as effective as our's from last year.

UC pulls it off. BYU truly lives and dies by the 3 with almost 70% of their shots from there. One kid could hit but all the others had really bad nights and the BYU interior D was soft as a baby's you-know-what.
