At the point where he did it, the odds of them coming back to tie or win (in regulation) were long to say the least even if a held ball was called instead of a foul, but getting T'd there allowed us to seal the deal for sure.

They weren't THAT long. He gets the T at 1:53 left in the game down by 5. Even he doesn't get the T and we make the two free throws for the initial foul (which we did), they are down 7 with 1:53 remaining. That's not insurmountable, especially from a 3-point shooting team.

You get a Technical with 10 minutes left in the game, not 2. He cost his players a chance to win. I think we still would have won, but BYU outscored us 8-1 in the last 58 seconds of the first half, so anything can happen.
