Bruce was a stud! I was a youngster when he was at BU but he remains one of my favorite players to this day.

My son and I were in the stands in Albuquerque, when Baylor was in the 2nd round of the NCAA's and I think Bruce hit 8 3's that night. He was unconscious!

That was Brady Heslip. Bruce only played one NCAA tournament game and it didn't go well for us.

Sorry. I stand corrected. My son just told me it was Brady Heslip. When you get to my age some things begin to run together.

I completely understand. I cover high school sports and have a hell of a time remembering names after kids move on.

I took my kids to the Purdue game at Purdue when Drew first started coaching. We won that game in large part because Purdue had no answer for Aaron Bruce. He did it all, scored, assisted, rebounded, played defense, made free throws.
