Very proud of our effort. Truthfully, our effort is never in question. Our decision making is sometimes questionable, but that's expected with some of the young talent we have.

What is totally NOT understandable is the horrible officiating crew tonight. These are grown a$$ men making a mockery of the game with a gargantuan amount of senseless calls, over and over and over. Til the end. How we won, I don't know. Glad we did. But win or lose, these officials should be relegated to Pee Wee League.

Did everyone else see the Iowa State coach running up and down the sideline on the basketball court?!?! I mean, past the green, past white, on the actual court?!?! Did the refs do anything at all about that?!?! Do you think the Big 12 Commissioner had anything to do with the bad refs calling T's on Baylor? Maybe he was testing the Baylor squad or something else? Those refs tried to think of everything they could to throw at Baylor! It was absolutely ridiculous and vindictive. Everyone can see that! How do you start an investigation? Is it even possible?

ISU was in the bonus at 15:05 of the 2nd half. That should NEVER happen to a home team that is playing solid basketball.

ISU had a 30-12 FTA disparity at the 5 min mark of the 2nd half. That also should NEVER happen to a home team that is playing solid basketball.

Thanks. Is Hartness known for being difficult or is this out of character? I have not heard of anything bad from this guy previously, unlike some other officials who are well known for major suckage.

Jeb Hartness (courtesy of poster Mitch Hennessy)


Mr. Hartness has an unfavorable history and the exact same thing happened with Tim Floyd 13 years ago (bogus ejection followed by another quick bogus tech)

A quick read of this article shows that Hartness has no business being a referee in any league.

Thanks for providing the name. Just did a scour online. Hartness did the same thing 13 years ago to Tim Floyd. It is believed he was suspended as a result.
