A quick google will show you that a similar thing happened with this ref in a 2022 VCU Vanderbilt game. He should not be back in the Big 12 at all.

Nunn was in that game.

FYI, Hartness was the ref who ejected the NMSU kid for his sucker punch on the Liberty player. I don't think we could hold that against the guy, but it is strange how he seems to be present for bizarre situations.

Yep it sure is strange, and I'll bet $2.50 since that Hartness could have been making some bad calls on a repeated basis prior to the sucker punch. But I don't have a video of the game so can't really prove it.

And while Stackhouse may have an anger management problem and needs to see the Adam Sandler film of the same name, it also seems strange that Hartness was on the court when Stackhouse had to be escorted out. He's the common denominator in all these things.

Game is archived on ESPN+ under Basketball/Conference USA. All the other archived C-USA games are 1:50:00 to 2:23:00 in length. The NMSU/LU game is 2:36:00, so obviously some long stoppages of play.

Ok thanks. I just reviewed the Tim Floyd ejection from 2010.

Officials with the initials JH ... not a good combination.
