I think the second half of the UCF game may have been a turning point. We really struggled in the first half and didn't look terribly interested to be there, to be honest. But we came out after halftime and outscored them by 14 in the second half. Given their success at home, that was no small feat.

Yes. And we started out on fire vs Iowa State. Without the craziness in the 2nd half we would have won by a sizable margin.

This. It would have been easy to lay down and quit after those losses and the 1st half of that UCF game. But they didn't.

Time to win the conference. Ku's weakest start in years. Need middling teams to start to step up and beat Houston a few times and we have something.
