I doubt Mack is expecting anything from anybody. Believe me, while you won't donate (and you make much more $$ than I I would suspect), there are plenty who will for solidarity's sake. And you know, I don't think that's a bad thing. The fact Mack probably has a few million in the bank doesn't mean much to me in this case.

And they are suckers. HE said it. HE can pay for it. We are all paying for the above already as well as his granting an extension to an unproven head coach in another sport that has now tied our hands to keep him for at least one more lame duck year.

It was a calculated move. If the officiating dven gets a little better it will be worth it. Big 12 needs strong basketball so its members can survive the next conference reshuffle. He will be looking good and rake in millions if Baylor makes it. 25k is chump change bet on himself.

Off the top of my head I think this is a way to get in trouble with the NCAA and run afoul of the state laws regarding NIL to use your NIL apparatus to funnel the AD extra money. Did anyone even ask Rhoades or General Counsel's office before running off and doing this project? I'm thinking this project should shut down fast

And yes. I'm sure there are safeguards in place so Mack won't see the money. Nor would he expect it.

It's not going to the AD.

You see this all the time in private sector when a famous person or rich person gets fined for something and their 'fans' start a Go Fund Me or something. The money ends up in a charity or something.

Mack will pay the fine and the money will go to NIL.

Yeah but I doubt the NIL apparatus is a vehicle that is allowed to be used this way unless it is going to student athletes and not Rhoades as stated.

It's not going to Rhoades. Says it right on the website:
