I saw my first Baylor game in 1966. I hitchhiked to Houston to see Bill Menefee's Bears play Rice in a driving rainstorm when I was a freshman with no car. But, I understand Baylor fans.

This is why the arena is 7500.

Where are the empty seats..I don't see them. I see a bunch of red up top but it's full too.
.and remember at 7000 seats..if 300-400 are in restrooms/concession that's notable.

An ISU fan was complaining the other day about how loud it was for their game in Waco. Said that Baylor should be investigated for piping in noise because it was louder than their arena.

I've only seen it on TV so far, but at least to me, it doesn't look like a "tiny arena" on TV and the crowd nose is impressive.

The only problem I have with the location is its proximity to the Clifton Robinson Tower. And that will eventually be remedied, I'm sure.

The location is awesome. Close enough for students to to walk. And, close enough to eat or grab a beer downtown and walk. It's freaking great and will keep getting better.
