Didn't mean to be calling you out specifically. I totally agree that the media overreaction to the Briles situation never got a reciprocal media correction.

But ultimately Baylor has no room to talk. Of course, as you say, neither does anyone else.

Nobody is "bragging" about only two conventions as two convictions is two too many. The point is that if Briles was truly coaching teams loaded with rapists and sex predators as the media was reporting on and editorializing about, common sense tells you there would've been a lot more guys convicted and going to prison than two people.

I was at the game last night, and partook in the booing of Isaacs every time he touched the ball. He had a couple good moments, but overall appeared visibly flustered and struggling.

I booed him because:
1) He would not be playing if he was not their best player.
2) It gave our team a competitive advantage.

I could not partake in the "17" and "no means no" chants.

It was a terrible look from the Baylor students/fans. I was at the game and there were plenty of adults chanting No means no. We do still live in America where innocent until proven guilty is a thing correct? Obvious if he is found guilty he should be in jail the rest of his life. But until he is found guilty people should shut up and watch the game. It was a classless low level thuggish look.

I don't remember any other fanbases following the innocent until guilty line with BU. Instead it was an instant witch hunt.
The poster above nailed it. If Pop wasn't their best player he wouldn't be playing.
The only ones this is a bad look for is Tech who continue to play a guy accused of rape because without him they're not going dancing

Boom! Spot on! I remember 2016, 2017, 2018 and after where road games were insufferable with the "Rape U" chants. All because the media found Baylor guilty without due process.

it's extreme but, yes. OJ was found not guilty. Public opinion (including my opinion) says he's guilty.

Trumps not been found guilty of any J6 crimes but that doesn't matter for so many.

Yes. The only other player to go to trial was Oakman and he was acquitted.

Sam U was convicted, served his 6 months (clearly a different kind of offense), had it overturned on appeal, & was convicted again on appeal. So far as I know, that's the end of it.

Student chants last night were an embarrassment. Using sexual assault charge as fodder to get under the skin of a player to win a game is pathetic. Just kids so they have a lot to learn but it shows a lack of class.

Relax. The polls show that he becomes more popular with each new charge, decision, revelation, etc. He is on an upward trajectory towards the height of his popularity and power, culminating in November. Nothing can slow him down or dissuade his faithful. He already controls the House and enough Republicans in the Senate.

U r wrong. In my opinion Bear Pit was awesome last night. Great research. Great distractions. What home court advantage is all about. If opponent can't handle it don't play an accused rapist on national TV in the best conference in America. Stand & Cheer, heckle and harass All The Time. You know, like fans.
