Just kind of a fact of life like the sun rising in the east and setting in the west - if you're the visiting team at Phog Allen, on average, you're probably down 10-0 at the opening tip between the crowd and the refs.

If we could dribble, pass, catch, shoot, or not GIVE the ball away, we win by 20 at the Phog
Retreat Hell! We just got here! The 2/5

Certainly not disputing the TOs were killers, but in addition there were enough bogus calls to have been the difference as well - which, again, is not a surprise when you're a visitor to the Phog.

Easy to get turnovers when the ref swallows his whistle for the home team.
Our vibrations were getting nasty. But why? I was puzzled, frustrated... Had we deteriorated to the level of dumb beasts?

I love my bears but tonight it wasn't KU who beat us. So many of the turnovers were unenforced. Tough to watch but I still think this team's best basketball is ahead.

Being down one key player and losing by three at one of the best home-court advantages in the nation is nothing to panic over.

I don't think anyone is really panicking.

But it is frustrating to give away a golden opportunity to win in an environment we almost never win in because we were so damn careless with the ball and couldn't knock down open shots in the clutch.

Kansas was without its best player and didn't play a particularly good game. They tried their damnedest to keep us in the game, even as we were actively playing our way out of it. If we just eliminate the unforced turnovers, we likely win by multiple possessions.

Our team played hard, but we always play hard. To win in these spots, you also have to play well, and we didn't do that for most of the game today.

I'm not devastated by any means. I didn't expect us to win in Lawrence in the first place. But I'm damn sure frustrated by the number of opportunities we failed to seize. That was an imminently winnable game today and we just refused to capitalize on so many chances to seize control.

Great post. I have a feeling our best basketball is ahead of us which is a great feeling going into March.

Great post. We can be better and a little better will turn into wins instead of close losses. Let's not do this turnover thing again.
