His game will probably reinforce the notion that CSD will probably need to play Missi almost the whole game as long as he isn't in foul trouble.

Huge drop off after MIssi.

Then again you can say this about a lot of positions.

Agree Missi has improved dramatically and clearly needs to be on the floor the most, but on the whole there normally hasn't been that much of a drop off when Josh O has been on the floor - until that KU game where Josh O was a bumbling disaster. Hopefully that game was a fluke for him.

Josh O has played a lot of solid minutes this year. I consider KU game to be an outlier. Missi is still clearly option 1, but Josh O has shown a lot improvement in his post work and generally having reliable hands.

I agree with the comments that Josh O has shown really good improvement, particularly on D, since the beginning of the year, but for the record he has one of the worst TO per minute played and TO per possession advanced metrics of any big man in the Big 12.

He's still growing in terms of both his basketball IQ and his motor skills keeping up with the pace at which his body grew, so you're gonna get TOs. I look for him to be at a really good stage by next year. He will ultimately prove to be yet another big who improved pretty dramatically over his 4 years here.
