Why are they listing SEC first? Does it matter?

If my quick look is correct, 10-2.
The only losses are Iowa State to the Aggies & UCF to Ole Miss.

Besides our wins over Auburn & Florida:

Kansas beat Kentucky, Tennessee & Missouri
Houston beat the Aggies
Tech beat Vandy
OU best Arkansas
LSU lost to K State & to Texas

Other Big 12 teams had no games vs SEC

It shouldn't matter but it's odd for two reasons. Big12 has higher rated teams. (3 top 10) and B comes before S in the alphabet.

Did BYU ever actually drop out of the top 25?

Anyway, the thing that strikes me is that next year (after adding OUT) the SEC will really have a legit argument to be the best men's and women's BBall conference.

The SEC will not be the best next year. They will be good and maybe better but the Big 12 will be much better. To be honest, I'm surprised do many of them are ranked but I don't watch much SEC basketball.

I think your bias is showing. You should probably watch the SEC then. That's a good ass league this year

The Big 12 is dropping OU and UT, two teams not in the top 25, and they're adding Arizona, a team set to be a No. 1 seed. I think the Big 12 will be fine.

And yes, BYU dropped out, but 26, 27, 28 are BYU, Tech and TCU. The SEC only has one other team getting votes: Mississippi State with 5.

What's ACC vs Big 12 record? It will definitely surprise you.

2-9
Duke beat Bu
Pitt beat Wv
VT beat ISU
Those I know off top of my head would need to cheat and look up the others

I believe ACC was 9-3 against Big 12

Awww was close. I thought Brownell had said we were 2-9 that's where I got that from. And I only remembered 3 of the non con losses vs the ACC off top of my head

I said I watched little. My statement was mostly about recent trends & less about bias. It's quite clear that there are several good teams in the SEC this year. It's in the records more than the rankings. I wouldn't be surprised if they get a 1 seed or one of them makes it to the Final Four.

The Big 12 will be fine and so will OUT. The SEC will be right there in men's basketball and probably on top for women.

I enjoy watching women's basketball. I couldn't give a **** who the best women's basketball conference is though. We won three national championships in an average conference.

And UConn won countless NCs playing only 2-3 decent conference games a year when ND was in the Big East, then none after they left.

Big 12 loses OUT and gains Zona, Utes and Buffs. Two are good programs and one is a really good program.

B12 isn't losing anything regarding conference strength
