Have seen the replay numerous times. Looked to me like there was minimal contact between the fans and the "injured" player. The way it was reported, one would think he was carried out on a stretcher and Life-flighted to the hospital. I think what was hurt was his pride. Will not be shocked if we learn later that he has a bruised vagina.

Tend to agree that the level of contact here does not equal any real injury. Filipowski took more punishment under the net that he did in the court storming. And Filipowski played last night with 10 reb and 9 points. Seems fine.

But we already have laws in place if something happens. If a fan runs into a player while storming the court, that's assault. As we know from the Wake Forest incident, there were two fans that hit Fiilpowski and they were very much caught on video. If you are going to storm the court while the opposing players are there, you're assuming that risk.
