Maybe my favorite play of the whole year. He was way outside the three, it was the dagger that deflated all the Zags around us that were starting to talk smack.
I would throw in the McVey playBearBuck said:
That moment and RG3's Heisman moment versus OU are the greatest two.
Still gives me chills every time I watch it. Such an awesome sequence.Crawfoso1973 said:
Vital block, Butler dribbles up left wing, skip pass to Flagler on the right wing for the dagger 3 sealing the Natty....

Yeah. If you watch the video with volume, you can hear Davion and the rest of the Baylor bench howling in anticipation before Flag even got the shot off. Knowing Flag was money and that was the knockout punch. I've probably watched that game 100 X and that sequence 500 X.Task Force 2015 said:
I loved Davion's reaction to the Flagler dagger. He was jumping up and down like an excited kid.

30 PTS 🔵 7 3PM 🔵 5 AST@okcthunder two-way signee Adam Flagler scored a career-high 30 points on 7 3PM to lead the @okcblue to a first-round overtime victory in the #NBAGLeaguePlayoffs presented by @GooglePixel_US. 🙌👏 pic.twitter.com/cNUC7O609f

I'm not young, so I know you're right as there always needs to be a foundation to build on, but to make the jump from 74 all the way to RGIII leaves out a whole other era of darkness that we had to climb out of. ESPECIALLY in basketball which Teaff had very little to do with in the first place.GruntTuff said:
I know that I'm old, but without Grant Teaff and the Miracle on the Brazos, nothing post 74 would have happened.
You young guys have no clue how bad it was and how close Baylor was to dropping out of the SWC.
Who kept us there?
Grant Teaff and Abner McCall.
Without them, no RGIII, no Scott Drew, no McLane Stadium and no Foster Pavilion.
We can't personally thank Ab, but if you're around Waco and see Teaff, give him a thumbs up.
I would rename as follows:LIB,MR BEARS said:
The Baylor Mt Rushmore of plays.
-Vital bock ending in the Flagler 3
-RG3 vs OU late touchdown pass
-McStop
-Block punt vs UT 1974 miracle game

These are the sequences that make Mark Vital and Adam Flagler a part of Baylor lore if the Bears win. #NationalChampionship
