Your request had me looking and ending up with a great deal of confusion. Yanis Ndonga comes from New Mexico Military Institute, where he played one year, and was listed as a freshman. Why he is now listed as a Senior on our current roster I don't know. His Stats are an even greater puzzlement: he is reported to have played 26 games, averaged 10mpg playing time, yet reportedly averaged 13.5ppg and 8 rebounds...
When diving into game results I get a fuller understanding of the confusion. A sizeable number of the season provided no player stats at all. In one game where there were stats, Yanis was credited with 16 rebounds and 10 points while playing only 1 minute. From what video there is, and from what stats you can believe, it appears that most if not all of his production is at the rim. He showed good elevation and was a strong rebounder. What he will be able to do after being out a full year due to injury, we can only guess at this point. If healthy and hopefully more eligibility than this year, he should benefit from practice against Omier.

That's what you call "spark off the bench" ... his ability truly defies the laws of physics.
What is, is.
What was, will be.
What will be WAS, but will be again.
