Remember him last year at the beginning of the season?

He's clearly done the work. I'm happy for his success.

We are so blessed to have him!

He is so much better than last year. I am noticing he has much better court vision and awareness. Last year he had tunnel vision.

Are we still pretending he's a good player or are we only judging him against low mid major competition. He's really just not good.

I'm not sure why Nunn continues to get singled out when all of our guards except Wright are wilting lilies against good, physical defense.

The only difference between Nunn and the rest of them is that Nunn was recruited as and has virtually always been a role player while the others were expected (laughably, as it turns out) to be alphas.

All 3 are pretty terrible if we're being honest. And the numbers back that. Against competition as good or better the combo of VJ, Roach, Nunn are laughably bad. No fixing it at this point. Just hope they do enough to continue the streak of making the big dance.
And you know why Nunn gets singled out… HYPE. He came to BU with no hype.
Roach and VJ were hyped by posters on here and receive preferential treatment because of such. You have the usuals who refuse to criticize the freshmsn because you know… freshman. Can't be critical and they can do no wrong. Than you have Roach who was hyped as one of the very best in the portal by a few. So he can't be criticized either.

This roster was not built for Nunn to be a role player, drew recruited this team like he wouldn't be a roll player. Many on this board (i'm not saying you) keep acting like he's some amazing big 12 guard. If Nunn was a back of the rotation guy getting 15-20 minutes a game I don't think he'd take any flack. But he's playing 30 minutes a game and looks worse than he did last year.

Jayden Nunn has never not been a role player. He was a role player at VCU. Anyone who thought he was going to come in and play a starring role had completely unrealistic expectations for him as a player.

I'm more frustrated by those who were brought in to play starring roles and are no more impactful than Jayden Nunn in big games.
