I didn't get to watch any of the game because I was covering a high school football playoff game. But I tried to game track a little. Wild win for the good guys.gobears20 said:JEREMY ROACH WINS IT FOR BAYLOR AT THE BUZZER pic.twitter.com/cYbJlg9dYg

I kept wondering why VJ was still out there limping around...and then he hits the second biggest shot of the night

Interesting. I didn't notice in real time how long it took before the clock started. It's about time we got a break.

The clock operator was terrible. I noticed several seconds going one way or the other several times

The refs were terrible also. Both teams had issues although they were getting away with arm bars and reach ins the entire game.TechDawgMc said:Big12Fan2024 said:

I'm not sure people quite realize just how big of a loss it was for Duke when Jeremy Roach transferred to Baylor. Will be an interesting narrative to follow if the Blue Devils' early point guard concerns don't improve. Will find out more tonight in Tucson.

Reportedly Pitino is pissed about Drew asking for a review for possible flagrant at the end icing their free throw shooter.
I hope there aren't any Italian restaurants open late in Nassau...

And where did the Baylor players congregate to celebrate?
Right in front of the St. Johns bench and Rick Pitino!
Talk about stabbing and then twisting the knife . . . .

Since they basically play in a hotel ballroom the guy working the clock probably had already put in 8 hours out front as the hotel concierge during the day.
I've also been really impressed with him. He tries to force things sometimes too much, but that's to be expected of a true freshman. I don't think he is a one and done given his size, but I think he will turn out to be a true Baylor great. Really enjoyed watching him so far.oldbear69 said:
How good is RWlll off the bench...double figures every game...my fav...
St. John's HC Rick Pitino: "I felt at the end of the game it was highly unethical to go to the camera on a BS make-up and icing my free-throw shooter. Highly unethical and the referees should never let it happen."

Zuby Ejiofor missed both FTs late in the 99-98 2OT loss to Baylor
He's pretty old to be that big a baby.boognish_bear said:St. John's HC Rick Pitino: "I felt at the end of the game it was highly unethical to go to the camera on a BS make-up and icing my free-throw shooter. Highly unethical and the referees should never let it happen."
