Yeah VJ wiped the floor between foul shots. But his player did it right after. Further icing his FT shooter. Think he made the 2nd one anyways

It was before the last free throws. Drew seemed to think that the St John's player threw an elbow on the inbounds before the foul. Not sure what he saw but he reacted immediately. It clearly wasn't calculated

That's a hard way to lose, for sure, and very draining. But come on. You are only embarrassing yourself.

Ejiofor is roughly a 50% FT shooter. Even without icing him the probability he's going to miss a FT is there so that's not Drew. Pitino needs to talk to the player who tossed Ejiofor the ball because it was pretty obvious that is who we would try to foul. Or perhaps Pitino may want to pull the guy who throws bricks on FT attempts.

I guess Drew crossed Pitino's line again.

Petino should have been questioning why the clock started so late on our rebound. Guess the time guy bet the money line on Baylor

If you look at the footage that Drew wanted reviewed, it's at least questionable that the St. John's player threw an elbow.

Funny thing is we will see Barnes' slimy butt tonight.

The official blew the whistle on Baylor and put his player on the free throw line. So yes, the whole reason they lost when they had an 18-point lead was the officials. Anyone who watched the game could see that. And if the officials hadn't given his players other free throw attempts late in the game and in the first overtime that they also missed there never would have been a second overtime.

I rate his outrage mostly justified.

Geez ethics ??? Pitino been involved with more strippers and hookers than Hunter ,,, at least 3 major scandals have cost him jobs ,,and he's worried about icing ,,lmao

It's the same outrage Shak had when they called a foul on the other player before the shot. "How dare they put me on the foul line...unfair!"

Pitino is just upset that another Baylor team storms back in dramatic fashion to beat him! The man was having bad Deja vu!

The refs reviewed whether Roach got shot off. But they're also to review if clock started properly by using a stopwatch if necessary.

There were several other instances in the game where the clock started or stopped late. In the end it probably evens out.

The officials paused play before StJ free throws to check the clock. TV announcers said Drew had questioned it.

Yes, you are correct. My memory while still good sometimes brings up errors. :-) But perhaps there is a transitive property involved.

You're attribution may have been off (since Barnes is the one who said it), but your point is actually still spot on. There is no love loss from Pitino when it comes to Drew. He was very vocal with references to "bush league" in how he felt Drew and the coaching staff acted when we came back from double digits and beat him when he was at Louisville, and his comments about the officials were thinly veiled shots at Drew.

Hypothetical shoe on the other foot. Does Drew have similar comments? We all know the answer to that and there in-lies the difference between Drew & Patino. One is a man of character and the other is sleazy.
