They might release standing room only, but the arena is sold out of physical seats for all games.

No, just means people can buy the tickets and sell them online since it has become so easy to do so....What Baylor needs to do is establish similar policies that Football Clubs in Europe do - have your own internal ticketing swap system, control who sells and buys tickets. Collect the associated fee's versus letting Stubhub, etc. do that. In this day, it would not be hard to put something like that in place - - definitely end the days of having entire sections sold to opposing fans.

I'm not sure how easy it would be to put a system like this in place, but I really like the idea.

tickets are $10 on stubhub usually until conf. And even then, non marquee games are cheap.

all seats are sold out as season tickets. Standing room only is the only ticket sold for individual games. Secondary market is how you will need to buy tickets for seats.

Baylor is not going to invest in doing that and be literally the only college in America to do it while giving up revenue via ads & official partnership with a ticketing site. I believe seat geek is currently the official resell site for Baylor which means Baylor gets paid for that advertising.

There's 0 wrong with the secondary market system.
