Drew is a great motivator. KSU dominated West Virginia yesterday.

This says a lot about Drew and his relationship with Tang, but I don't think I've ever heard of an opposing coach giving a motivational speech to the other team after a loss. I'm not saying it has never happened and sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but I've just never heard of that happening.

It says a lot about both Drew and Tang. It's not every losing coach that would allow the winning coach to speak to his players after a tough loss.

Coach K went to the Kentucky locker room in the 90s after Laettner hit the game winner in the elite 8. I guess not to motivate since their season was over, but he wanted to show his respect since it was one of the great college games of all time.

Didn't Mack Brown do this for Baylor in football back in the Steele days? Told the team "you aren't that bad," or something?

I’m not sure what the first two months were about but @KStateMBB absolutely looks like a tournament team. They have a lot of work left but what they are doing is Lazarus-like. 5 starters nearly as good as anyone in @Big12Conference.

It just confirmed what I said in December when posters were saying they were a trash team and I said they were underachieving for some reason and give them a chance to see if Tang could turn it around..

It may be a little late for their NCAA hopes but who knows.. they could win the conference tournament..

Speaking of.. with our depth issues.. there's no way we'll win it it we have to play 3 games in 3 days.

It's hard for players to get up for a 3 day tournament which in a lot of cases the outcome makes no difference in NCAA tournament seeding. A couple of years ago Texas was playing to get in the NCAA and got the automatic bid. If KSU is on the bubble, look out for them in the conference tournament.

We've only been playing them every year for about 25 years. KSU and Kansas...I think they have been playing regularly since Naismith invented the game.

I think that was their 3rd straight win over KU in Manhattan.

Not Basketball, but Darrell Royal did after BU came from behind to beat TX at Waco in their '74 Conference Championship year. Congratulated the team and told them " to go out and win it all".

They are leading #13 Zona 41-37 right now....but they've just hit kind of a cold spell with their shooting

Arizona, who shot 50% from 3 against us, goes 2-22 for 9% against K State.
K State, believe it or not, was even worse at 1-19 for 5%

2 teams in a P4 league go a combined 3-41 from 3. How is that even possible?

I'm looking forward to seeing Arizona play in Waco. That game has potential to be a humdinger.
