Saw that Wright is playing point now. Did Roach quit the team?

oh ok
I think Wright probably should be the point guard anyway. Seem like the same thing that happened with our football QB. Lets see if Wright stays at point.
It's his 2nd concussion in less than 2 months. They will take extra precaution, as they should. Don't expect to see him for quite awhile.G-Bear said:
How long is concussion protocol? Is there a chance he could return for the BYU game?

In high school you cant even begin the protocol until you're asymptomatic.Stefano DiMera said:G-Bear said:

Pretty sure my high school team trainer could not have spelled asymptomatic...or protocol for that matter.thebrandonlamar said:In high school you cant even begin the protocol until you're asymptomatic.Stefano DiMera said:G-Bear said:

We can't get out of our own way with all the injuries.
It's very telling when you have 4 guys on the end of the bench and you don't believe a single one of them has even marginal skills to get into a game for 3 or 4 minutes to give an extremely small rotation a breather in altitude when it was obvious they were all gassed.BellCountyBear said:
If these other bench riders can't play at all in a real game, why have them on scholarship? Stupid economics.

It's been that way for years. The 2020-2022 teams were so good it didn't matter but I agree. The staff whiffed really badly starting with that top 50 big from the Midwest and that wing from Houston. Both very clearly weren't high D1 players but held spots for 2-3 years.
Love, Jon (post injury), Lohner.. that makes 5 guys brought in with legit expectations that couldn't do anything for us. Bonner and the Juco kid weren't any good either.
Sochan and Missi leaving a year early didn't help. Staff has been one step behind ever since.
Still doesn't excuse the lack of any quality defensive teachers and motivators on this staff.

Losing guys a year early and it damaging your program means bad recruiting. Great coaches have guys go pro early all the time that doesn't set them back years in recruiting
Especially in the transfer portal era. That excuse gets thrown around frequently here, but it isn't a valid reason for our ****ty roster construction when a replacement with Division I experience is a phone call (and bank transfer) away.IvanBear said:Quinton said:
