Is this the most egregious ejection ever?

Leave it to Big12 officials.
Toppin ejected for a jump pass where his leg follow through caught the defender in the jewels. How can you possibly conclude that was intentional and a Flagrant 2 - ejection?
McCasland also got fired up - rightfully so - and got ejected.

Every one of those referees should be fired from their jobs. Embarrassing

That is absolutely awful. The officials should be suspended. That little ref show completely changed a huge Big 12 game less than four minutes in.

Agree. And check their bank accounts for wagers.

If you watch the play again, Toppin's eyes are focused on the cross-court pass. That's some serious Houdini body control - an "intentional no-look crotch shot" - stupid.

Egregious. This should be looked into.

Was this the same crew that ejected Drew last year? Or Self or Sampson?

It did: it motivated Tech to play even better and win the game!

That accountability should be public or it didn't happen.
A bad foul call is one thing but ejecting a key player for that is crooked bad.

Just watched the replay of the KU game. At the 1:51 mark of the 2nd, Harris for KU drives for a layup right into Omier and catches him with a knee right in the huevos. Omier is even grabbing his junk on camera. No more or no less contact than the Tech/UH one, and no call on either Omier or Harris.

Dickinson gets called for his 5th on the missed shot.

Big 12 officials seem especially spineless to home court fans.

Kirby needs to tread lightly...hes already had at least one blow up and reprimand and fine like Mack .

That whole situation was absolutely nuts.
What an excruciating time for both players. Both got the boot and had to take one for the team.

Toppin should get an extra game of eligibility.

Poor Houston player will likely have turn his head and cough for his post game physical.
