Saturday at noon Kansas was picked by a committee of folks who know a little about basketball as a top 16 seed. After they lost Saturday I said they deserved to be in Top 25 and they were on Monday.

After tonight..I can UNEQUIVOCALLY say they are not a Top 25 team.

Not that history means a ton, but we have traditionally played very well in Fort Worth.

Our record against the Frogs is actually better there (9-4) than it is in Waco (8-5).

We haven't lost in Fort Worth since 2020. And the last two years we avenged home losses with a road win. Hopefully that trend holds this year.

WV was up 9 on Cincy with 17 seconds left and at the line for 1 and 1. Player half-asses the FT that barely draws iron. Cincy comes down, throws up a 30 footer off the glass, then steals the inbound and hits another with 4 secs left. WV then drops the inbound pass out of bounds.


Wide open Shot to tie at the buzzer hits front of the rim and WV survives.

Cincinnati goes from preseason Top 25 to 5-10 in the Big 12. Seems like there's too much talent on that team to be 5-10.

That's the most disappointing team in the Big 12 this season. They returned everyone from a pretty decent team last season. They definitely should have made the tournament with what they brought back, and they're not even going to come close.
