Even with everyone healthy earlier in the season there was no defense and scoring wasn't there.
Early in the season there was still optimism the group could potentially gel with so many new and moving parts. But instead of geling the team has regressed mightily. The injuries have killed any momentum our team has tried to build. But with our poor roster construction and no depth, we set ourselves up for Murphy's Law to win out. The flawed, shallow roster construction is fully on Drew and the coaching staff.IowaBear said:

Getting your doors blown off once (Gonzaga) can be written off. Twice is a trend. We've since done it four or five more times.
Anyone who still thought we were good before yesterday hasn't paid much attention to this team.
CSD knows better....1-n-Done's are not a sustainable college program championship strategy. History has proven this dating back to when Calipari birthed it, as an unavoidable fact, in the sport.
Ever since Mack started directing CSD to bring in national McDonald's attention-getters, at all costs, the program has steadily slid. The best assistants saw the headlights, and bolted one-by-one first chance.
Thank Mack for running the men's basketball program into the ditch of mediocrity. Just like he has with every other athletic program at Baylor, and every school athletic department he has led.

A very very mediocre Gonzaga at that. Signs were there right away that this team wasn't gonna be all that good.
