The women's basketball team plays defense at an extremely high level. They put the men's basketball team to shame. I hope Drew can recruit a great defensive coach in the off season.

I get it that comparing men's bball and women's bball is an "apples and oranges" situation, but just from an effort and intensity standpoint alone, our women put our men to shame. Had the ladies had anything better than a horrific shooting night against TCU they're easily B12 season champs today mostly on the strength of their outstanding D.

Our defense has actually improved over the last several games. It's our offense/shooting that has regressed, starting with the West Virginia game.
