Saw VJ in person last night against the Mavs, I came away very impressed. Right now he is the 3rd option behind Embiid and Maxey and he plays that role perfectly. Looks like a veteran NBA 3 and D wing already, never forces his own offensive looks. He's a 99th percentile NBA athlete but also appears to possess 99th percentile basketball IQ. It is very hard for a rookie to be "the man" for his college team and immediately transition into an elite role player to fit a team system...but he has done just that. The scary thing is, he is barely scratching the surface. He will eventually get more offensive usage in the coming years and has the upside to be a perennial all NBA player and a household name for years to come.
