Took a quick look at the guys from last year's squad who transferred out. Long story short, not many of them are doing much of anything, Rob Wright excepted.

Langston Love (Georgetown): averaging 6 mins per game, 0.6 pts and 0.6 reb, and is yet to actually make a shot this season.

Jalen Celestine (Cincinnati): averaging just over 13 mins per game, 3.0 pts and 1.7 reb. He's shooting 20.8% from the field and 26.3% from 3.

Josh Ojianwuna (Ohio State): yet to play as he recovers from his knee injury suffered last season.

Jason Asemota (Boston College): averaging just over 8 mins per game, 3.7 pts, 2.2 reb, but shooting splits are respectable. 44% from the field, 36% from 3.

Omar Adegbola (Northwestern State): He's the Demons' second-leading scorer, averaging 10.2 pts and 1.7 reb on just under 17 mins per game.

Marino Dubravcic (Northern Iowa): yet to play this season. Likely redshirting.

Robert Wright III (BYU): Public enemy #1 is averaging 33 min per game, 16.3 pts, 4.2 reb, and 5.3 assists on 46% from the field and nearly 42% from 3.

Sometimes players leave. Sometimes players are asked to leave.

You forgot the most important person, Mitch.

Yanis! Yanis Ndjonga actually exists! I thought he was the chupacabra because he was listed on our roster for multiple years and we never actually saw him on the court.

He's played in 4 of McNeese St's 7 games and is averaging 7 points, 6 rebounds in about 20 minutes a game. He hasn't played in the last 3 games and I noticed a tweet that said he had visa issues and didn't get to go on their trip to the Cayman Islands tournament.

Side note on Asemota -- he's missed the last couple of BC games but the PR staff will only tell writers it is not injury related. It's an "internal" situation.

God bless. That's a major oversight on my part. Good to see proof of life from our boy.

Thanks for doing the Lords work. Crazy what Scott Drew is able to do with what he has. Thanks for sharing!

Good riddance. It's amazing what Drew was able to put together in such a short period of time. Imagine how good we would have been last year if VJ would have had this current supporting cast of high energy role players like Powell and Skillings instead of those scrubs from last year. Wright is the only one I regret losing, but Williams is looking every bit a capable replacement at a fraction of the price.

Only one of consequence is Wright. I like what Drew put together from scratch. Will be interesting how they come together. There are some really athletic pieces in this puzzle.

If the guy from Italy and Bodo were healthy, this team would be scary.

Feb 10th at Foster should be interesting; I expect the students to be in full throat.

I agree, Drew did a heck of a job. Great mix of guys and hit on pretty much everyone this year (hope Rataj can hit another gear). Powell and Williams were great finds. Unfortunate break with the injury bug.. again.

The only player on this list I was sad to see go was big Josh.

Wright was the best talent, obviously, but the way he departed pissed me off, so good riddance to him.

Josh Ojianwuna's a good player, and he'll prove that at his next stop if his knee heals well. But otherwise, I agree.

The only miss so far has been White. I thought he'd be much better than he's been. But there's still time if he can get healthy over the holidays.

If he hasn't made a shot, how is he averaging 0.6 ppg?

Did he ace the written part of the test?

Lol. He's a real "culture carrier."

Good news, though. He went 1-2 on Friday, so now he's shooting a robust 11.1% on the season.
