I ended up very B12 biased and have Duke, Az, UH, and ISU in the FF...and Az beating Duke in the final.
Joshua injury not gonna help that ISU run.
My rough draft was B12 heavy. My final one wasn't as B12 friendly. I have UConn, Houston, Mich, AZ in F4.

Never have and never will like UH, but as is the norm, I'm a fan of any opponent of aggy - so I'm fine with UH running them off the court.
These first 2 rounds are terrible. I hope when we get to the Elite 8, this thing picks up but so far a real snoozer.

I went with Arizona. Their clutch shooting in close games pushed them over the top for me.

I don't pick against Sampson or Few until the Sweet 16 at the earliest. Those programs are just so consistent in March.
Houston's defensive rotations are just so ridiculously good. I can't stand Kelvin Sampson, but that dude is an elite basketball coach.

Thursday was great, but Friday was pretty boring after the Santa Clara-Kentucky game. And today has been pretty bad.

I picked Arizona in all my brackets. They are the one team that can match up with pretty much any type of team they could run into. Big, small, fast, slow, physical. They have the experienced PG who knows how to control a game. A solid big. A couple of defensive specialists. A spectacular 2 in Burries. A bench with a physical rebounder in Awaka, a streaky shooter in Dell'Orso,

I love the fact he yanks a kid when they make boneheaded mistakes and is willing to put a not-as-good player out there for a few minutes while he teaches and talks to the kid who made the mistake. You don't see too many of his guys make the same mistakes game after game. And if you start sloughing off on D, you quickly find your ass on the bench.
Its just a bummer because this was my favorite sporting event of the entire year and now it's just another over hyped event like the Super BowlStefano DiMera said:

I love upsets, but I don't need them to be entertained. I'm just looking for good, competitive games, and there have been a fair number of those.

That one-handed alley-oop by VCU was sick. That highlight will be shown for a while.
As much as I don't want to, I've got to give Texas credit. They've played a lot better in this tournament than I expected them to.
This VCU team is really fun to watch. They're not exceptionally skilled, but they are freakishly athletic. And they play with a relentless motor on both ends.

That game-winning shot was ridiculous. Dude caught it off balance and still got a good shot up basically in one motion.
This Zags team was drastically overseeded. I had Texas in the S16 and that choice was rather easy to make for me.

Texas got an excellent draw. They matched up great with both BYU and Gonzaga. Think Gonzaga just wasn't that good this year. Their D metrics were a little juiced imo.
