I know the vibes are generally awful for Baylor sports right now, and worse in basketball than a long time, but this is a genuinely significant and positive development that in my view potentially dramatically changes the outlook on the season. Of course at this point it's just an expectation, not a guarantee.
Also consider this for just a second --- in the fall the #1 ranked QB from 2024 and the #1 PG from 2025 could both be playing on Baylor's campus at the same time.
