Fully agree that Powell coming back is great news. As to Skillings, I liked him as a player but my understanding is there is a hard cap of 15 roster slots this year, which is a number we seem to have reached. Of course, if one of the blue bloods decides they need one or two more to fill the bench, a preliminary injunction could change that.

As to Skillings, I liked him as a player but my understanding is there is a hard cap of 15 roster slots this year, which is a number we seem to have reached. Under NCAA Division I rules, the hard roster cap for men's basketball (MBB) is 15 total players. This hard cap includes both scholarship players and walk-ons combined, meaning a team cannot exceed 15 players total on its roster.

Correct. This is why Texas is unable to keep Weaver. Same deal with Skillings.
