Fully agree that Powell coming back is great news. As to Skillings, I liked him as a player but my understanding is there is a hard cap of 15 roster slots this year, which is a number we seem to have reached. Of course, if one of the blue bloods decides they need one or two more to fill the bench, a preliminary injunction could change that.

Under NCAA Division I rules, the hard roster cap for men's basketball (MBB) is 15 total players. This hard cap includes both scholarship players and walk-ons combined, meaning a team cannot exceed 15 players total on its roster.

Correct. This is why Texas is unable to keep Weaver. Same deal with Skillings.

But great news on the Powell deal being official yesterday.
