I'll say this MaCio took this L HARD! If the team goes to Indy as pissed as he is I like our chances to destroy the first 2 teams.

Yep we just need to get away from the Big 12. We are battle tested in this league and we are about to make history with a number one seed.

The good thing is we have guys on this team that have played in the ncaa and I love the idea of going straight to Indy with this bad taste in our mouth. I trust coach Drew and the staff getting this team prepared. Drew has a lot of experience in the Ncaa.

Macio was pissssssssssed. Vital took it like a man and gave some great insights and motivation. Props to him.

Drew is the reason we lost last night. Absolutely horrible job of coaching the last 5 minutes. Why didn't we press. Why didn't we foul and make them make free throws. Why wasn't Mayer in the game when we were behind and needed to score. I could go on, but I think I made my point.

Our best lineup is Butler, Flagler Mayer, Mitchell, and Teague. That lineup has been played for a whole 1 minute this season. It should have been played the in the last two minutes last night. O.K., so I kept going on.

If you play the lineup you suggested teams are going to literally murder us on the boards. This isn't a 5 on 5 pick up game at the Y where you pick based solely on who can score. As yes I'm a firm believer we have to upgrade the 5 position. Hint his name is Dain Dainja and he's going to be a monster

The same Flagler who was 1-8/0-5, with 4 points, including 2-2 FT's, in 20 minutes?

As for Mayer, you're obviously a homer for him, proven in multiple posts where you say the same thing about him being the answer, while blaming CSD's coaching. It's okay to be a homer, for whatever reason, but don't negate it with comments about Drew. I've been a homer over the years for certain Baylor players, due to different connections and influences, and that's normal and understandable. Just stick to that, and we'll all understand.

Question for ya, why did Dain Dainja get redshirted this year, when there's a free year of eligibility? That confused me, especially when I think we could use him this year. Maybe I am missing something

You'd have to clarify with Brian or one of the mods but my understanding is to get his academics straightened out

It's fun to pretend emotions can overcome deficiencies in fundamental defensive principles that stop easy backdoor cuts............but they don't. You either understand what you're doing, or you don't. And, unfortunately we have a couple of bigs and a couple of key reserves who don't.

NOTE: My comment is not in regard to anyone else's post in this thread.

If your suggested lineup is the best we have and it's only been played for one minute as you suggested... how could you know it's the best?
