I'm not saying it like a easy win. I didn't explain it well. I think we are vulnerable and we are still in the top 10. So another big test before conference would be nice to find the drive in our athletes.

I don't think that is true at all. She has stated that she put Maryland on the schedule this year to see how the team responds in a tough road environment.

She also added the Cancun Challenge.

It is absolutely true.
The Athletic Director of each school negotiates and secures all non-conference opponents. It is all established on legal contracts.....which Head Coaches and coaching staff have no involvement with. She may point the Athletic Director to a potential opportunity to work out based on a conversation she had with other coaches, but she herself does not put anyone on her schedule. The administration that hired her does.

That's a distinction without a difference. Coach has a lot to do with the scheduling.

Yep, by her own testimony she is influencing schedule. Can't then conclude she has ZERO to do with it.
