An explosive scorer, she missed 2017-18 with injury, and could have gone to the WNBA draft this year. But she decided to stay with the Mountaineers, who played in the WNIT the past two seasons. Her goal will be to get them back to the NCAA tournament and boost her draft stock.

"Mack, a 6-foot-4 center, played two seasons at Angelina College in Lufkin, Texas. During the 2018-2019 season, Mack averaged 24 points per game and led NJCAA Division I with 180 blocks, an average of 5.45 per game."

"Renetha "Shug" Dickson, a 5-9 guard and St. Louis native who played at Lutheran North, has signed transfer paperwork to play for Missouri after spending the last three years at Tulsa and Texas Tech. She will sit out the 2019-20 season per NCAA transfer rules.

Dickson, a two-time Class 3 all-state selection at Lutheran North, was Tulsa's leading scorer as a sophomore two years ago, pacing the program with 14.1 points per game along with 4.7 rebounds. She started 36 of 60 games in two years at Tulsa with 28 games in double figures for points. She transferred to Texas Tech last December and sat out the rest of the Red Raiders' season.

"Forward Ins Nezerwa has received a waiver from the NCAA staff which will extend her eligibility and allow her to compete during the 2019-20 academic year. The NCAA approved the waiver after determining she was denied the opportunity to compete in at least two seasons during her five-year period of eligibility.

Nezerwa, who hails from Bujumbura, Burundi, just wrapped up her first season with the Cyclones, coming to Iowa State from Jacksonville College in Jacksonville TX. Nezerwa saw action in 34 games at Iowa State, averaging 4.5 points and 3.2 rebounds in 2018-19."

Beatrice Mompremier Picked for U.S. Pan Am Games Team

"The Miami native is one of 12 players on the U.S. Pan American Games Team, as announced Monday morning by USA Basketball. Mompremier was one of 35 players at the team tryouts that were held May 16-19. Mompremier is one of five players on the team who have previously medaled with USA Basketball. She helped the United States to gold at the FIBA U18 Americas Championship in 2014.

A rising redshirt senior forward, Mompremier earned First Team All-ACC honors in 2018-19, her first season competing for the Hurricanes. She set the program single-season rebounding record at 12.2 boards per game and also paced the Hurricanes with 16.7 points per contest."

Evidently Lady Basketball Players must like Cajun flavored seafood. I made mention in another thread about Cox and her injury that I saw her at Tejuns along with several other Lady Bears a while back. Since then I've seen them there again. And today I saw Erin Grant from La Vega who now plays with TT. She was there with her grandmother today. Popular place for lady basketballers.
