After having one of their most disappointing outings of the season in Dallas on Sunday, head coach Nicki Collen and No. 24 Baylor (8-3) return to the friendly confines of the Ferrell Center to face Long Beach State (5-4) on Wednesday afternoon. The game will mark the final non-conference game of the season for Baylor, before opening up Big 12 play against TCU on New Year’s Eve.

Definably need a rebound game !!
But still need to be challenged
I think Long Beach State will give the team a good fight.

20+ point win with their 3 best players on the bench; they'll be fine against Tcu.

I think you're right. I've watched them a couple of times and they are weak.

Van Gytenbeek needs to play more. She plays good D, makes good decisions, and can hit the 3.

Are you kidding?

Van Gytenbeek does not play good defense and is a turnover machine.

She is a good perimeter shooter and her game should improve as she becomes more comfortable with Baylor's schemes and her teammates but she is simply not starter quality on a nationally ranked team.

I never said she should start. I said "play more". The whole team is a turnover machine. She can shoot well, and we need better shooting from the 3. I loved seeing Sarah shoot 2-11. I stand by my comment about her D. The other guards aren't any better as a unit.

Statistically, your biggest impact player was on the floor (#51).
