Agreed. Queen is still sporting UT gear and i think we'll see an immediate commit to UT if Christyn Williams passes which I think she will. My gut tells me CW chooses UConn and I'll be shocked if she goes to UT.

Texas has 13 players on their team right now, when Joyner returns they will have 14. They have only three Seniors. They have 4 commits for 2018 right now. That puts them at 15, the NCAA limit. No more room.

Are they going to run off another commit?

I did the same math Bill. Doesn't add up unless they pull a scholarship from an existing player.

Williams to Texas not going to happen. If it does, I have to think it might start a small domino effect of transfers seeing how they have Patterson and Littleton, 2 players that aren't likely going to want to sit the bench for many years. I am confident (without any inside knowledge) that Williams is going to UConn. She can play the 1 or 2 and next to Crystal Dangerfield, would give them a potent backcourt.

South Carolina a dark horse for Williams but Only think that occurs if there is a cascade of commitments that she might play along side.

Now, there are a couple others on the wish list (you know who you are) so I hope they are seeing the light that BU can provide. Education and a Top 5 basketball program.

If Queen REALLY thinks it out and commits to Baylor, she will have a big impact quickly (unlike UT where she will be second fiddle to some other 2018's they just got) and the chance to develop going up against KB (Kalani Brown) for a year in practice. She will also have lots of super Sophomore support and a couple of Freshman wings (Smith and Bickle) with her that would be an incredible front court over the following couple years (once Cox and Chou graduate).

So if you are reading this Queen.........WE WANT YOU HERE !

DFW Bill what do you know about the 2 bigs? Have you seen them play? One of them may be a sleeper and a possible if QE goes elsewhere.

I have been really quiet on the board the last few months, but I'm starting to get really excited about the season, especially seeing our talented group of rookies take the floor.

I'm expecting Cox to show the same Sophomore improvement that Kalani did.........and if so, we are going to be so so strong in the paint. Kristy is going to be stable and steady, and it is time to see what Cohen can really bring to the table.........

Hope we can avoid the injury bug......only ten players on a roster makes me nervous.

Anyhow, I have missed all you guys.......But I'm coming out of hibernation and I'm ready for some WBB!

To my knowledge, Egbo hasn't taken any other official visits besides Texas. I don't think she has given up on Texas just yet, and maybe waiting to see if something opens up on their team first before thinking of other teams. I surely wish she'd at least visit Baylor.
Hey
Agreed this is an important weekend with recruits. Hoping we get both DeCosta and Scott-Grayson. I'm still wondering who the 2nd "silent" commit is?? Anyone know?

The other commitment is honesty. The staff will be trying to close the deal with decosta this weekend.

Honesty's brother, Tyreek Scott-Grayson, is a freshman MBB player at State Fair Community College in Sedalia, Missouri.

He is attending the 2017 Mitchell-Mullen Dallas Blowout Jamboree in The Colony this weekend. Over 300 four-year college coaches are expected to attend this premier JUCO scouting event.

A 'mole' within the BU organization let it slip that Grayson and Decosta gave verbals to KM...hopefully not fake news.

Well if William did commit to South Carolina she'd be playing with Destanni Henderson for 4 years, the #1 point guard in the 2018 class.... and also potentially Olivia Nelson-Ododa, a top 10 post player for 2018.

I would add DeCosta to that list of possibilities too but I've already written her off to Baylor, especially after some interesting postings on social media and elsewhere.

Call me biased, but I could definitely see Henderson and Williams in the backcourt together at South Carolina.

Williams will likely be a class of 1 at UConn as I don't think Nelson-Ododa will be heading to Storrs at all.

If the information on DeCosta and Scott-Grayson is correct and it appears it is, the recruiting for the Lady Bears Class of 2018 is finished. Stick a knife in us, we are done. Strong arguement to say the Class is #1 in the US.

Yes, it will. My guess would be that if they're on the floor together Smith will play the 5 with DeCosta at 4. If that is the case Smith's ability to shoot the three and put the ball on the floor will be a handful for most 5 players.

Bill! I heard we have the other two of the four we wanted! Got the word from a friend in the program. I think we are finished, but maybe one more.

I think I may have just violated about 4 posting laws on the board, so see all of you in a month.

KM pretty much got the players she really wanted this year outside of Collier. Not sure if she will push for Egbo now.

Bickle, Smith, Honesty and Decosta pretty much solidifies our team for years to come.

Morris, Ursin, Juicy, Oliver, Honesty, Chou at guards
Richards, Bickle at forwards
Brown, Cox, Smith, Decosta as the bigs

That's a very talented team. Did I miss anyone?

Karen had 12 McDonalds AA last year and still couldn't win the Big 12. LOL. BU had 6 and still won it for the 6th time in a row. Karen can't hold a candle to KIm. Kim's won at every level and every position she's been in from HS player to college player to college asst. to college HC. Karen's resume is dog**** compared to Kim's.

Uh... first of all Karen didn't have 12 McDonald's AA last year she had 6 McDonald's AA last year and Baylor had 5 or 6 so get the facts straight. Baylor also had 3 players that will be playing in the WNBA in their career if you include Brown. So the bottom line is that Baylor had a better team. And with the emotionally insecure, immature, coach that you speak of they basically got beat by one player who at the most was 5'4. That was a great job of making adjustments by the great Mulkey wasn't it?

The irony! I guess you've bumped your head and forgot the epic chock jobs by Baylor year after year against inferior teams. Well see the same emotional break downs and the inability to control her emotions again this year from Mulkey when Baylor gets beat by one 5'4 player again this year.

Well if we beat Texas twice and the supposed unbeatable team "UConn" lost to someone 5'4 I am not sure that is an insult. Every fan knows on any given day any team can loose to anyone.

Guys just ignore the responses. The lack of respect for the current fastest coach to 500 wins and the only one to win NC's at all the levels. We don't go on UT's board trashing Karen and we won't here. We love and support Mulkey and will continue. She has done things here even Geno couldn't do at UConn in the time he was there. So let the hate keep coming for him. He's mad our trophy case is full and well the one in Austin is kinda dusty....

You can respond or not, however I am done replying to the this troll!

Your either a joke or a troll . Texas had double the Mac AA's as BU did last year and the year before. Karen is 1-9 against Kim in Big 12 play. I can't help it if Karen can't develop talent and Kim can. When Karen can win 2 games in a season against Kim ( including the Big 12 tournament) and wins the Big 12 then wake me up but until then you must have your head up your ass.

Baylor is the team who does great in the regular season, and "earns" a #1 seed in the NCAA tourney despite a very weak non-conference schedule, and they continue to underachieve and get outcoached by lower-seeded teams like Oregon State and Mississippi State, and playing in front of plenty of their fans in cities like Dallas and OKC. Even with Big 12 POYs and AP All-Americans on the squad, Baylor is the school who has failed to live up to expectations more than any other team in the country recently. Who can ever forget that epic choke job against Louisville in 2013 in the OKC regional round of 16 for the supposed #1 overall team in the tournament?

But, keep on believing that you are a Top 5 program when you haven't reached the Final Four since 2012.
