Has anyone seen anything on Dre's eligibility? Here experience, rebounding and scoring would make a profound difference for this team. Fingers crossed!
This would be devastating. The freshmen have played well and they are a very large part of our future. They have grown a lot but I hoped that they could be brought along a little slower. I am confident they will prove themselves to by great players, but I hoped we would have Aijha and Dre available to take some of the pressure off them. That said I think they will rise to the occasion. I said that by tournament time they would be at another level. Now we need them to get there even sooner. In the long run they will benefit from being thrown into the Big 12 fire. Some freshmen can't take the heat but I think Buggs and Bella will make us even more proud that we are now.Dcheetah said:

I just can't imagine that under NCAA regulations, a prior school (Kentucky) would have the final say so over whether she is eligible to play for another school (Baylor). This should be a standard NCAA rule. Edwards has completed a semester at Baylor, her papers should be graded by now, and Baylor should know how many hours she got credit for and whether she is eligible to play now.Bone Squad said:
There had been some chatter that it was Kentucky not signing off on whatever they are supposed to. If true, that appears vindictive on their part.
This sounds like she will transfer from BU.FishinBear said:
Doesn't sound good

Is it possible she has to sit out a year unless she graduates from Kentucky. So she'll either be here this year when she earns her degree as a grad transfer or will be with the program next year working on her grad degree? Either way, hope to see her in a Baylor uniform at some point.
I remember Morris sitting out at least one season before the transfer rules changed. That may be part of the differnce.Bear3 said:
I really wish we knew what is going on with Dre's eligibility. Someone said Aliyah Mathura at Florida who is also on 3rd transfer is also having eligibility issues. Yet there are some players who transferred 3 times and did not have to sit out. Alexis Morris was kicked off of Baylor team, went to Rutgers, went to A&M and is now at LSU and to my knowledge did not have to sit out. Just do not understand transfer rules…….
