WACO, Texas – The Baylor women’s basketball team announced a home-and-home series with the Oregon Ducks on Monday beginning in the 2023-24 season.
The first matchup is set for Dec. 3, 2023, at the Ferrell Center in Waco, before the Bears make the return trip to face the Ducks during the 2024-25 campaign.
The Bears are a perfect 4-0 all-time against the Ducks, dating back to 2005. December’s meeting will be the first between the two programs since squaring off in the 2019 national semifinals when Baylor used a 72-67 victory over Oregon to propel into the national title game.
This will be the second home-and-home series between the two programs, as Baylor hosted Oregon during the 2007-08 season and traveled to Eugene for a meeting with the Ducks the following year.
The Ducks have advanced to the postseason every year since 2015-16, with five trips to the NCAA Tournament in the seven-year span. Last season, Oregon saw its run come to an end in the Great 8 round of the WNIT.
