It is a complete guess. But it's still nice to know people are thinking of us a top 16 kind of team right now, despite not getting out of the second round for the last two years.

And i think we are a team full of upside, especially with the play of Aijha Dree and then if Buggs and Bella can continue to grow we will be great.

It shows us as AQ (automatic qualifier) so presumably he's expecting us to win the conference.

2 things should absolutely happen this year. Win the B12 (incredibly weak) and at least S16 anything less is a failure for CNC. Anything more is gravy and another big building block

Possibly, will likely be a top 16 or so team all year. The B12s lack of firepower will likely hurt us come seed time. So winning these early season games against good OOC teams feels important. But ultimately just beat the teams on your schedule and see where you fall in the field of 64

We did but those teams had no or no more than 1 conference loss. We will have to do something similar to get a high tourney seed.

None should, that's my point. And beating up on the weak B12 teams isn't gonna help our seeding a ton. Especially under the new format of how they seed.

they shouldn't but i think out of everyone they could be cause of them both having experienced players. we have them too but like out of anyone those are the only two that i think could make a push against us.

I haven't looked at Texas roster yet TBH. But ISu and OU will both be down. Way down. Okie St will be ok. WV and Tech I'd imagine will be average or below average. Ucf and Houston will be bottomfeeders. And I know nothing about BYU other than they have a good post

I think TCU and Texas will push us like West Virginia did or like a Iowa State where we should win but sometimes they would sneak us into a loss. That's all i'm saying so there is potential for some potential teams that we cannot just sleep on. I think we finally get to feel the hunt again so that will be a plus especially for the new coaching staff and players to see what it will take to earn a Big12 title and get to the second weekend of the tournament.
