No. 14 Baylor takes down Alcorn State 93-47
Led by junior guard Yaya Felder with 16 points, the Bears beat the Lady Braves by an easy 46 to move to 5-0 on the season.
All 13 Bears saw the court and contributed points today; the bench combined for 47 points, with Felder and Jana Van Gytenbeek scoring in double digits.
Baylor held Alcorn to single digits in the first quarter, outscoring them 24-6. Alcorn committed 23 turnovers, which the Bears converted into 31 points.
Today’s match marked the end of a five-game homestand starting the season for the Bears. Baylor heads to Dallas on Thursday, where they will take on SMU at 7:00 p.m. in the Moody Coliseum. The game will be broadcast on ESPNU, and the radio broadcast will be available via ESPN Central Texas 1660 AM/92.3 FM.
