The schedule also matters now since everyone doesn't play everyone twice. I briefly looked and it appears Baylor got a break on the schedule.
For example the "top teams" in the conference right now seem to be Texas, Baylor, KSU, OU, and until proven otherwise (probably will be proven otherwise) TCU. Baylor plays TCU and KSU only once and we play them at home. We play OU on the road, but only play them once. Texas has to play all three of those mentioned above twice.
