Today isn't terrible it's 14 degrees but we have another 4 inches of snow on the ground bringing the total to 12 this week

I agree. Feel like team has sent out a memo to all media that they won't answer this. Otherwise I see no way this would not have been asked. If injury, we would be told HIPPA protected and can't comment like with Aijha last yr. If redshirting, sure we would be told. Kyla seems healthy and still supporting her teammates on social media. She moves well and looked fluid in pregame drills before Houston. I won't speculate more. Don't understand why no one will ask.

I think it's commendable they're not saying anything if that's what has been asked of them. Why does everyone think they should be able to know everything that's going on?
Did CNC ever say anything about HIPAA concerning Kyla? If so, I missed it. I think using the term HIPAA is pretty common, not confined to misuse by coaches and it is used because people are familiar with the concept, whether or not it is the letter of the law is not relevant. Basically you are being told it is none of your business. But once again, has HIPAA been used in the case with Kyla or is it an internet strawman?RightRevBear said:GelaBear said:

I don't think everyone has a right to the information. I just hate it when people blame something, like HIPPA, instead of saying we respect her privacy concerning her injury. Blaming it on HIPPA when it is not leads to a false understanding of HIPPA and whose duty it is to protect one's private health information. Coach Nikki can't violate HIPPA because she does not work in healthcare.
