Stupid passes, poor decisions with with the ball, Walker out of control and brain dead. Most of the team just looks lost at times. Fontelroy and Buggs have lost some confidence as of late. CNC, I think, should call more time outs when then team is obviously on a bad roll.

Sure doesn't look like the team from earlier in the year.

As the season progresses you typically get better, we are getting worse. I'm not sure what blame our coach has in all this, but she shouldn't escape guilt. I'm sorry, but Sarah Andrews is out of shape. I know she was injured early, but my goodness. Basketball IQ for this team - zilch! Tonight Buggs did not score and Jada Walker had 2 points and Sarah had 6 points on 2 of 8 shooting (0-4 from 3). We had 20 turnovers, shot 21% from 3pt and 53% from FT line and we had a whopping 10 assist. Our offense against the zone? 16 points in the second half.

Until SA gets her confidence back, we're toast. No one else seems interested and/or capable in leading the team. Not sure why we don't call timeouts. Also, confused by personnel combos on the court. Finally, we never readjusted to their halftime changes. We just frustrated ourselves.

I don't know what it could be, but there is for sure something not right with this team. I just can't see going from looking really good to sucking without there being some type of issue.

Hate to call out one player when the entire team is off, but Sarah is killing us right now.

I'd agree. She didn't ask for the role, but she has been the senior leader for the entire season. She just looks out of it. Hopefully it isn't anything serious and she is able to snap back at some point. Maybe we are the Cinderella in the tourney? But I don't think we have to worry about hosting.

I think you are over confident. Playing like this you won't get out of the first weekend, possibly the first round. Right now this team is a hot mess heading toward dumpster fire if they don't pull out of this funk quickly.

We have lost confidence, that is for sure. I do not think "selfish player" is an issue for anyone in this team. In fact, it's the opposite. We are tentative, and overpass if anything. I was seated under the basket by our bench last night, and the zone of course was stifling in that last half. K State is very aggressive out of their zone. They contested everything-hard-even breakaway layups. The refs were very passive and frankly did a poor job on the other hand. Even with K State being so aggressive, how many fouls were called on them in the second half? How many free throws did we shoot in the second half?

The combination of that disastrous second half, our loss of confidence, bad shooting, a good and tall opponent(at every position), and yes no help from the refs (at home!)and we still almost beat the #4 team in the country. We had 5'6" guards having to guard very skilled 6'0" 6'1" guards all night long. They still only scored 58 points. Yes, I know Lee is out, but they are still good. Look at the first half. We had a double digit lead for a lot of the first half.

Anyway, we do need to right the ship, but I believe we can. We are really short of course at just about every position, so we need to be aggressive and fast to compensate. The first half we were to a great extent, but we were beyond stagnant in the second. I am not sure why we seem so "unconfident" now, and I hope we can get "it" back. We need a confidence building game soon! I think we will get it.

Our rough game could have something to do with playing the #4 team in the country.

The big girl was good inside. And Gabby was really good last night. Sundell was good as usual.

Our biggest problems were 4-19 from 3 and 53% FT percent.

We lost by 3. If we make 2 more threes, or hit 4 more free throws we win.

The sky is not falling. We just have to shoot better.

Careful with a thread like this. Everyone on here will get labeled a hater. You can go back 3 weeks on this board and there were posters saying "where are the haters now". It could be that if you discuss the game at all you could get labeled a hater.

Fontelroy has been off and Sara has been off. They are our shooters. If they do not produce, we do not play well. I hope they turn it around.

During the game she runs down the court and just throws the ball up hoping it will go in. I don't think she is a team player. Why not wait until your team gets down the court and set-up properly. Listen to the postgame presser. Collen says that in the last timeout huddle with about 10 seconds to go, she told Jada that if she felt a hack on her arm, to shoot the ball to draw the shooting foul, as we needed three points, time was limited, and KSU had three fouls to give. In fact, their coach started yelling, "Foul, foul," as soon as Jada gained control of the pass.

Not bad thought, but relient upon refs making the proper and tough end of game call. Also, the execution was a little rough for making the refs make the call, as Jada wasn't square to the basket. BUT, Jada was following the coaching instructions and trying to draw shooting foul and get to the line for three shots.

Also, at Tip-off luncheon, CNC said Jada talked with her and said "I have to be better." Coach said Jada worked hard and took hard coaching. I think maybe she has taken too much pressure on herself.

All I know is... I went from thinking we were a 1 (maybe a 2) seed in the Tournament (even hosting), and now we are middle of the pack in just the Big 12. I can't figure this team out. You name the issue... and we are doing it.

If we are being honest, let's admit both men's and women's team suffer from.some of the same problems. Overpasses and within that, a real propensity to lazy pass. All of our guards seem to bobble the reception, delaying their movement enough to draw their defender.
