Not a great start

We have lost our ability to knock down shots that fell for us earlier in the season and we have become a turnover machine. Got to get our confidence back soon or we will be in BIG trouble!

Horrible to watch this first quarter. So bad in so many ways

Buggs is such a good player, just horrid jump shooter.

Lack of height is such an issue. Blackwell guarding posts??

If we don't shoot/make a high percentage of 3s I just don't see a very long tourney run at all.

Coach leading us to back to back 6th place Big 12 standings. Nice.

When you can barely hit the backboard on an outside shot, teams are going to sink in and dare you to shoot it. Makes the easy points hard and builds frustration with your outside players. Also, you have to rebound. The fundamentals have escaped the team who, at one point, were controlling the boards and playing fantastic defense.

And if Sarah doesn't hit at least 2-3 3-point shots today, she needs to be either self imposing extra time in the gym or she needs to be told to sit on the bench. When you are that far off on a shot you aren't mentally dialed in. And it has now been over three weeks. That isn't a slump, that is a loss in concentration and focus. I went from feeling confident a shot was going in from the outside to feeling a gut punch when it leaves their hands, assuming it isn't going in. Just a horrid slide in regard to chemistry and productivity.

In the past several games, it seems like we've gotten away from that and are trying to make the home-run pass or shot which has led to many turnovers. Too much individual play. Need to get back to fundamental team basketball.

Sarah should sit. She is hurting the team on both ends of the court right now.

Hey, Coach is setting the bu record per the TV. She's the only one to lead a BU to three straight Big 12 loses in 3 straight years. Nice

Hopefully, we can right the ship. We have to stop the turnovers! Also, we need to be efficient from 5-15ft...jump shots, not floaters... KW and Jackson style.

I'm not sure I'd trust my teammates to make a basket based on recent performance. You are more inclined to make the extra pass when you can get an assist.

Turnovers down, getting some stops, getting makable shots, just need the basket to get a little bigger!

Back to back years we get worse as the season goes.

I was excited for CNCs hire. But, man I really don't like her coaching. All I heard last year is wait till she gets her type of players. Well, it's year 3. She has her players. Maybe it the coach .


Nice being 6th in the league again. Yah, it isn't the coach.

I do think CNC knows a ton about the game and shows that knowledge in the way she speaks and explains it. But it hasn't transitioned onto the court. That, in a nutshell, is what is required of a "good" coach. You can know it all, but it has to transition to the floor. Still hoping she is able to put it all together, but her team doesn't appear motivated and she seems perfectly content to shoot herself out of games. Which won't bode well in any league. Baylor can beat anyone on any given night. They can also get beaten by anyone on any given night. Not a great position to be in.

If she gets going, we'll be fine.

I don't think passing is our problem. We attack the lane to pass. We spread the floor to pass. Hopefully,we can set some on and off the ball screens to create open shots.

To an extent, you are correct. That said, us almost losing at home to UCF would not have been acceptable. Like, at all!
