Other than South Carolina as #1 it is a real crap shoot as to who is in the next 15 spots let alone 2,3 and 4...I mean some of the folks climbing into the rarefied air include KSU and Texas...I mean I think both teams are good but top 5 or 6 give me a break... Ut is in third place in conference right now. they are without their all-American Guard. They are top 16 at best not top 4. KSU is perhaps top 10 when they have Lee but without her, they are top 15 at best.
LSU has a weak schedule and some questionable losses in the SEC but they also are the only team to date to play with South Carolina and have a legitimate chance to beat them if Reese stays in the game.
I think it will be fascinating to see how they rank folks down the stretch you will have surprising losses almost every time games are played.
LSU isn't very tried. And with their lack of depth they will likely struggle in the second game of any weekend. That said, last year they weren't tried and lost to SC by I believe more than 20. So, all it takes is getting hot and going on a six game win streak.
That said, if any team from the Big 12 makes it to the second weekend I would have to assume it is Texas. Lee is going to come out taller than anybody else but likely out of shape. Her minutes will also likely be limited. Texas turns the ball over way too much. Once they meet a team with some height and depth they will be in a bit of trouble. OU has found ways to win close games. But I don't think they are an overall threat to most. And I don't see Baylor winning more than one game unless we get hot from the outside. Our lack of height is going to be our achilles heel.
I don't expect us to beat OU away. I personally feel Baylor needs to win every other game and two in the conference tournament to host. The committee looks at the last ten games with a higher level of importance. That doesn't bode well for us. We haven't looked prepared or competitive. Running the table the rest of the way could make a sizable difference in both our seeding and our path to a second weekend birth for the first time in the CNC era.
